Obituary of Lucille Mae Race

RACE, Lucille Mae (nee Scott) age 86 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully February 5, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side.  Born May 26, 1931 in Powell County, Kentucky, Lucille was the daughter of Charles and Rosie (nee Bishop) Scott and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Lucille was a member of the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, Ohio and enjoyed camping, sewing, vegetable gardening, fishing and canning.  Preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sheila Campell and sister Dora Belle; Lucille leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years Alonzo "Lonnie" Race of South Lebanon, Ohio; son Christopher (Vickie) Race of South Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Rhonda (Theron) Southwick of Maineville and Michele Race of South Lebanon, Ohio; brothers Charlie (Gail) Scott Jr.; Seldon (Phyllis) Scott; Merdith Scott; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening, February 8, 2018 from 6pm until 8pm at the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held at the church Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11am with burial to follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
