Obituary of Zua Octavia Morris

MORRIS, Zua Octavia Leone (nee Gordon) age 90 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully January 31, 2018 at The Lodge Care Center in Loveland, Ohio.  Born April 2, 1927 in Hosmer, Indiana, Zua was the daughter of Rudolph and Rosa (nee Barrett) Gordon and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Zua was a former member of the Liberty Belles in Lebanon and the Morrow United Methodist Church.  Many may remember Zua from her years of employment at the Kaufman's Department Store, Marvin's SuperValue Grocery, R-Tiles and Ghent Manufacturing in Lebanon, Ohio.  Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Ralph H.Morris, brother George E. Gordon, sisters Lucille West, Barbara L Hagan and Diane Owens and brother-in-laws Paul Opell and Bill Hagan; Zua leaves behind her loving sons Lawrence William "Billy" (Beverly) Morris of Virginia and Gregory James (Pamela Sue) Morris of Morrow, Ohio.  brother Lloyd B. (Toni) Gordon of Alabama, sisters Agnes MJ. Opell of Vincennes, Indiana, Julia A. (Glen) Owens of Indianapolis, Indiana and Carolyn Sue Heckman of Illinois; grandchildren Ryan Morris, Megan Clayton, Jamie C. Morris and Jeffrey Morris; thirteen great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11am at the Morrow United Methodist Church 510 Welch Road, Morrow, Ohio 45152.  The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to Hospice of Cincinnati Inc., c/o Bethesda Foundation, Inc., P.O.
