Obituary of Scott Begley

BEGLEY, Scott age 76 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Bethesda Arrowsprings. Born May 27, 1936 in Hyden, Kentucky, Scott was the son of George M. and Lottie (Barger) Begley and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Scott was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and a retiree from the Myer John & Wengler Corporation in Blue Ash where he worked for 30 years as a mold maker. Preceded in death by his parents, Scott leaves behind his loving wife Martha (Brummett) Begley of Lebanon, Ohio, son Danny Begley of South Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Kendra Miller of South Lebanon, Ohio, Teresa Hall of Tennessee, Essie Smith of Winchester, Ohio, JoAnn Begley of Middletown, Ohio, Minnie Stratton of Middletown, Ohio and Lisa Detherage of Indiana; brother Walter Begley of Indiana; sisters Tina Ball of Indiana, Laura Giles of Indiana and Reva Conners of Kentucky; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 11:00am until 11:30am at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:30am with burial in the Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
