Obituary of John Socha

SOCHA, John J. age 82 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born December 11, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, John was the son of John J. and Victoria (Duskewicz) Socha and was a retired manager with Croda Inks, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio. John was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents, John leaves behind his loving wife E. Betty (Evans) Socha of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Thomas Socha of Maineville, Ohio, John (Pam) Socha of Clarksville, Ohio and James Socha of Wisconsin; daughters Patricia (Todd) Kavemeier of Wisconsin, Theresa Socha of Wisconsin; Christine (Jeff) Johnson of South Lebanon, Ohio and Katie Socha of Lebanon, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Friday evening, October 21, 2011 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.
