Obituary of Kelly Deskins

DESKINS, Kelly age 82 of Maineville, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Symphony Care Center in Centerville, Ohio.  Born December 13, 1935 in Belfry, Kentucky, Kelly was the son of Troy and Elsie (Maynard) Deskins and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  Kelly served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy and was retired from the Ford Motor Company where he was a Benefits Representative.  During his spare time, Kelly enjoyed swimming, hunting, Ford cars and spending time with his family.  Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Vada (nee Blackburn) Deskins in 2012, his brothers Joe and Ivan and sisters Sally and Zetta; Kelly leaves behind his loving sons Carl (Melissa) Deskins of Lebanon, Ohio and Gary Deskins of Maineville, Ohio; sister Glentis, brother Sonny; two grandchildren and many other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 11:30am until time of service at 12:30pm all at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
