Obituary of Jerry Byrd

BYRD, Jerry Lee age 61 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed unexpectedly Saturday, July 21, 2012. Born October 1, 1950 in Clay County, Kentucky, Jerry was the son of Roy and Gertie (Allen) Byrd and a machine operator with the Future Finishes Company in Hamilton, Ohio. Jerry was a loving and devoted husband, father and friend to all who knew him. Jerry was a member of the Clay County, Kentucky Masonic Lodge, the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of South Lebanon, Ohio and loved sports - especially U.K. Basketball. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters Lida Taulbee and Lillie Mae Parker, Jerry leaves behind his loving wife Pat (Malott) Byrd of South Lebanon, Ohio; son Brian Byrd, brothers Elvis Byrd of Kentucky and Carl Byrd of South Lebanon, Ohio; sisters Jessie Jacobs of South Lebanon, Ohio and Goldie Byrd of Morrow, Ohio and many other family members, friends and neighbors. Friends may call on the family Tuesday, July, 2012 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church at 1:00pm with Reverend Arthur McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
