Obituary of Bonnie L. Smiddy

SMIDDY, Bonnie Lou (nee Kimberlin) age 78 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, December 15, 2017 at Bethesda Arrowsprings.  Born March 24, 1939 in Hope, Kentucky, Bonnie was the daughter of Freddie and Lillie (nee Stephens) Kimberlin and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Bonnie was a self employed cosmetologist and enjoyed cooking, puzzles and spending time with her family.  Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband James E. Smiddy in 2003, brother Thomas Kimberlin and sister Barbara Kerr, Bonnie leaves behind her loving children James E. (Kathy) Smiddy, Jr. of Lebanon, Ohio, William Boyd Smiddy of Patterson, California and Emily Diane (John) Stone of Lebanon, Ohio; brothers Freddie "Dickie" (Sue) Kimberlin of Wilmington, Ohio, Henry (Sandy) Kimberlin of Trenton, Ohio, John Kimberlin of Middletown, Ohio and Robert "Bud" (Sharon) Kimberlin of Middletown, Ohio; sisters Esther Morgan of Lebanon, Ohio, Stephanie Powers of Germantown, Ohio, Eva Durham of South Carolina and Carlene (Steve) Bogan of Franklin, Ohio; grandchildren Heather (Josh) Butcher, Candace Smiddy, Tyler (Ashleigh) George, Rebekkah Smiddy, Elijah Smiddy, Solomon Smiddy, Sarah "Ellie" Smiddy, Logan (Bethany) Stone and Evan (Adair) Stone; seven great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 5pm until time of service at 7pm at the Countryside Community Church located at 1436 Deerfield Road, Lebanon, Ohio.  Burial will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11am in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
