Obituary of Darlene Brown

BROWN, Darlene (nee Curtis) age 69 of Lebanon, Ohio passed unexpectedly Saturday, July 21, 2012. Born December 22, 1942 in Hamilton, Ohio, Darlene was the daughter of Elmer Cy and Dorothy (Joseph) Curtis. Darlene was a graduate of Garfield High School, a member of the Countryside Community Church and retired from the Hammacher Schlemmer Company where she worked for many years in Quality Control. Darlene was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed crossword puzzles, collecting angels, daisies, waffles from the fair and most of all spending time with her family. Joined in heaven by her parents and grandsons Brian Helton and Ben Huff, Darlene leaves behind her loving husband of 17 years Clarence A. "Brownie" Brown of Lebanon, Ohio, son Rick (Doris) Huff of Fairfield, Ohio; daughters Kimberly (Seth) Marsh of Lebanon, Ohio and Melissa Saylor of Batavia, Ohio; brother Donald (Mary) Curtis of Fairfield, Ohio; grandchildren Matt Helton, Kyle Marsh, Brady Marsh, Mandy Huff-Walling, Kim Patrick, Daniel Saylor, Many, Kristen, Nick, Jamie, Ben and Olivia; great-grandchildren Jacobs, Gavin, A.J. and Aubrie and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Monday, July 23, 2012 from 12:30pm until 2:30pm at the Countryside Community Church located on Deerfield Road in Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at the church at 2:30pm with Pastor John Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
