Obituary of Herbert LeRoy Shaffer

Shaffer, Herbert Leroy age 68 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, November 9, 2017 at his residence.  Born August 9, 1949 in Loveland, Ohio, Herbert was the son of Herbert and Ida (nee Berry) Shaffer, Sr. and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Herbert was a retired construction worker and enjoyed fishing, John Wayne movies, watching golf and spending time with his family.  Preceded in death by his parents, Herbert leaves behind his loving wife Delores Shaffer of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Herbert (Sherry) Shaffer and Michael Shaffer all of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Sherrie Shaaffer and Betty (John Sutherland) Shaffer all of Lebanon, Ohio; brothers Stanley Kohn of Jamestown, Ohio, Charles (Kerianne) Shaffer of Lebanon, Ohio and Rick Shaffer of Middletown, Ohio; sisters Sylvia Johnson of Lebanon, Ohio, Betty (John) Nickel of Calhoun, Georgia and Joyce (Ted) Hughes of South Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Brittany, Amber, Tiffany, Staphany, Alisha and Zachary; great-grandchildren Jace and Carson and many other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends Monday, November 13, 2017 from 3pm - 5pm  with funeral service at 5pm all at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.
