Obituary of Virginia Rose Woerner

WOERNER, Virginia Rose (nee Lokai) age 60 of Oregonia, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday, October 29, 2017 at her residence following a hard fought battle with cancer.  Born December 9, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, Virginia was the daughter of Clem and Eleanor (nee Kunka) Lokai and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Virginia was a retired Administrative Assistant with TR Gear Landscaping and enjoyed quilting, watching cooking shows, reading, traveling to Disney World and spending time with her grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents, Virginia leaves behind her loving husband Tom Woerner of Oregonia, Ohio, sons David (Annie) Woerner of Middletown, Ohio, Adam Woerner of Pleasant Plain, Ohio and Chris (Ashley) Woerner of South Lebanon, Ohio; brothers Clem (Sharon) Lokai of Centerville, Ohio, John (Pat) Lokai and Joe (Kitty) Lokai all of Huber Heights, Ohio; sister Mary (Danny) Combs of Phillipsburg, Ohio; grandchildren Makenna, Carter, Camdin and Caleb and many other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends Friday, November 3, 2017 from 9am until 10:30am at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.  At 10:30am we will move on to St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial with Father Bernard Weldishofer officiant.  Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.  The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to Hospice of Cincinnati, St. Judes Children's Hospital or To Breast Cancer Research.
