Obituary of Charlena Mabel Evans

EVANS, Charlena Mabel (nee Fueston) age 81 of Franklin, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Southview Medical Center in Centerville, Ohio.  Born December 31, 1935 in Turtlecreek Township, Warren County Ohio; Charlena was the daughter of George M. and Ruth (nee York) Fueston and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Charlena had worked for many years as a nursing aide at the Mount Pleasant Nursing Home in Monroe, Ohio.  During her spare time, Charlena enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and spending time with her family.  preceded in death by her parents, brother Thomas Rooks and sister Nettie Fueston; Charlena leaves behind her loving children Richard Evans of Waco, Texas, George Alexander of Winnsboro, Texas, Christopher Evans of College Corner, Texas, Joey Alexander of Sarasota, Florida, Jack Evans (engaged to Beth Cooper) of Washington CH, Ohio, Charles Evans (engaged to Terry Zuccari of South Lebanon, Ohio, Dawn Evans of Franklin, Ohio and Elizabeth Adams of Franklin, Ohio; sister Georgianna Puckett of Lebanon, Ohio; 25 grandchidlren, 28 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends Monday, October 30, 2017 from 11am until time of service at 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.
