Obituary of Vivian Ruth Ellis

Vivian Ruth Ellis ELLIS, Vivian Ruth (nee Haddix) age 78, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at her residence with her family by her side. Born May 12, 1939, in Wolfe County, Kentucky, Vivian was the daughter of Vernie and Mattie (nee Centers) Haddix and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Vivian was a warm-hearted and caring person who enjoyed writing poetry, listening to music, shopping, flowers, playing bingo, and wintering in Florida. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold "Buzz" Ellis, former husband Henry “Hank” Horne, former husband James Richard Redman, daughter Debra “Debbie” Kilburn, brother Herchel Haddix, brother-in-law Gerald Blevins and sister Joyce Byrd. Vivian leaves behind her loving children James "Jim" (Dena Childers) Redman, Jr. of Moraine, Randy (Velma Heyne) Redman of Beavercreek, Rodney (Sandrine Coute') Redman of Paris, France, and son-in-law C. Michael "Mike" Kilburn; sisters Verneda Blevins and Mary (Jack) Berchtold , sister-in-law Janet Haddix, brother-in-law Hobart Byrd; grandchildren Stephanie (Campbell) Kent, Mindy (Redman) Campbell, Matthew Redman, Stacy (Kilburn) Miller, C. Stephen Kilburn, Holly Redman, Daniel Redman, Courtney (Redman) Kershaw, Suzanne "Suzi" Kilburn, Brittany (Redman) Godwin, Tess Redman, Kaleigh Redman and Justine Redman; great-grandchildren Brent Stine, Breanna Back, Brandon Back, Clayton Miller, Jordan Campbell, Noah Mahaffey, Lucas Correll, Kelsey Miller, Jackson Godwin, Chloe Godwin, and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 28, 2017, from 6pm until 8pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home, Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 29, 2017, at 11am at the Kings Point Church of God, Maineville, Ohio, with Pastor Randy Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.  The family suggested memorial donations be directed to Community Care Hospice or Cancer Research.
