Obituary of Russell Singleton

SINGLETON, Russell age 73 of Mason, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, September 16, 2017.  Born November 3, 1943 in South Lebanon, Ohio, Russell was the son of Lester and Flora (nee Gabbard) Singleton and was a loving father, son, grandfather and brother.  Russell was a proud US Army Veteran having served from 1961-1964.  Russell was retired from the Borden Chemical Company were he was a foreman.  During his spare time, Russell enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching old westerns on TV and spending time with his family.  Preceded in death by his first wife Katherine (Rogers) Singleton, mother Flora Singleton and sister Penny Green of Lebanon, Ohio; Russell leaves behind his loving children John D. Singleton of Lebanon, Ohio and Phyllis Ann Ross of Mason, Ohio; father Lester Singleton of Lebanon, ohio; brothers Charles E.(Karen) Singleton of Morrow, Ohio and Donice (Carol) Singleton of Morrow, Ohio; grandchidlren Christie Lynn (Harold) Jones and Christopher Lloyd Bowman; great-grandchildren Brandon and Andrew Bowman and Trevor, Kylie and Alissa Davis and many other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 11am until time of service at 1pm at the Full Gospel Church of God, 1502 Deerfield Road, Lebanon, Ohio.  Burial with military honors will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
