Obituary of Douglas Andrew Mescher
MESCHER, Douglas Andrew "Pugsley" age 30 of Lebanon, Ohio passed unexpectedly August 22, 2017 in a workplace mishap in Franklin, Ohio. Born January 7, 1987 in Kettering, Ohio, Doug was the son of Douglas Mescher and Julie (nee Waddell) Peters and was a loving and devoted husband, son and brother. Doug attended Lebanon High School and Warren County Career Center and was employed with SK Rigging. Doug enjoyed motorcycling, camping, boating, family and friends. Preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Mescher, maternal grandmother Marlene Waddell, paternal grandparents Denny and Bobba Lou Mescher and uncle Joe Mescher; Doug leaves behind his loving wife of 2 years Brittany (nee Booth) Mescher; his mother Julie (Jeff) Peters; brothers Noah and Brady Peters and Robbie Mescher; sisters Lindsay and Felicity Mescher, maternal grandparents Karen and Benny Purkey, John Waddell and Patty and Gary Peters; mother-in-law Sheila (Gary) Castelluccio, father-in-law Clint (Connie) Booth; sister-in-law Courtney (Jeff) Jacobs; uncles and aunts Melanie and Craig Swarts, David and Amy Purkey, Emily and Merle Abrahms, Eric and Charlene Purkey and Lindsay and Parker Kronour and many other family members and friends.The family will receive friends Monday, August 28, 2017 from 5pm until time of service at 7:30pm at the New Freedom Church, Miller Road, Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church at 7:30pm with Pastor Joel Jacobs and Pastor Joe Shutts officiating. Burial will be private. The family has requested memorial donations be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project or Lebanon F.O.P. #133, 25 West Silver Street, Lebanon, Ohio 45036.
