Obituary of Fred Osborne

OSBORNE, Fred Jr. age 91 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at his residence.  Born September 15, 1925 in Midland, Ohio, Fred was the son of Fred and Velice (nee Goode) Osborne, Sr. and was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him.  Fred was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Clinton County and was a proud US Navy Submarine Veteran of World War II having serviced on the US Seal from 1943 - 1946.  Fred was the owner and operator of Fred's Mobil Locksmith and a former employee of NCR in Dayton, Ohio.  Fred was active and well known in his community, he coached little league baseball, was a Captain on the Lebanon Fire Department, a memberof the Lebanon Masonic Lodge, American Legion and a Kentucky Colonel.  Fred enjoyed growing plants in his greenhouse,bowling, watching the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals and spending time with his family..   Preceded in death by his parents, brother Shirley "Short" Osborne and sisrters Roselyn Waltz and Jackie Starey; Fred leaves behind his loving children Bev (Bill) Sulfsted of Lebanon, Ohio, Cindy Spencer of Nancy, Kentucky and Larry (Debbie) Osborne of Mason, Ohio; sister Kate Haygood chaney of Wilmington, Ohio; grandchildren Bart Osborne, Richard Sulfsted, Cindy Tanner, Lisa Middaugh, Kelea Morrow and Preston Spencer; great grandchildren Megan, Emma and Andrew Suflsted, Logan and Will Tanner, Khloe and Gunnar Traud, Andrew, Hannah and Corey Morrow and Layleigh Spencer.   The family will receive friends Friday evening, August 18, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church.  A Masonic Service will take place at 7:30pm at the church.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:30am at the church with Pastor Thomas Crank officiating.  Burial with Military Honros will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
