Obituary of Peggy Cook

COOK, Peggy (nee Durr) age 84 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday morning, July 29, 2017.  Born April 27, 1933 in Independence, Kentucky, Peggy was the daughter of John ans Mary (nee Moore) Durr and was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.  Peggy may be remembered from her years of employement at General Electric, Production Plating Works, Cincinnati Milicron and the Countryside YMCA.  Peggy was a lifelong resident of Lebanon, Ohio and enjoyed reading, knitting, crossword puzzles, bowling and spending time with family. - her grandchildren were the love of her life.  Preceded in death by her parents and former husband Merrill "Buster" Cook; Peggy leaves behind her loving children David (LaVonna) Cook of Ft. Myers, Florida and Paula (Jay) Fultz of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Stacy (Josh) Cockerham, Katie (Jeremy) Main, Kristopher Cook, Megan Cook, Monica Clark and Terry (Mildred) Clark; great grandchildren Lucy  and Alex Main and Ella Cockerham and many other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 11am until time of service at 12pm with Pastor Casey Cockerham officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.  The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the Lebanon Theatre Company, Mason Community Players or the Lebanon Food Pantry.
