Obituary of Donald Reed

REED,Donald Jr. age 81 of Mason, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, July 24, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Born January 17, 1936 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Donald was the son of Donald and Kate (nee Wallace) Reed and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Donald was a retired security officer from the Formica Corporation and a member of the Kings Mills Baptist Church.  Donald was also a member of Masonic Lodge #678, Scottish Rite and York Rite.  Donald was known for being organized, he enjoyed motorcycles, tools, computers and most of all his grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents and son Danny Thomas Reed in 1975; Donald leaves behins his loving wife Edna (nee Jackson) Reed of Mason, Ohio; son Robert (Liz) Reed of Mason, Ohio; daughters Donna Marie (Tommy) Davis of South Lebanon, Ohio and Sharon Ann Boatright of Mason, Ohio; brother Bill (Mary) Reed of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren Daniel, Curt, Sarah, Scott, Sheena, Rhinda and Aaron; great grandchildren Savannah, Courtney, Danica, Braxton, Connor, Brock, Paige, Caleb, Bentley and Lillie and many other family members anre friends.  The family will receive friends Friday evening, July 28, 2017 from 6pm until 8pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11am at the Kings Mills Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.  The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers from Village Hospice and request memorial donations be directed to Village Hospice in Donald's memory.  Village Home Health and Hospice, 11275 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246.
