Obituary of Irene Jenkins

JENKINS, Irene (nee Williams) age 84 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Lebanon Country Manor. Born May 4, 1928 in McGoffin County, Kentucky, Irene was the daughter of Raney and Sola (Howard) Williams and had retired from the Lebanon City Schools where she worked for more that 30 years in the cafeteria. Irene loved gardening, canning and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Jenkins and infant daughter Patty Jenkins; Irene leaves behind her daughters Wanda Gail (Robert) Howard of Lebanon, Ohio, Kathy (Jim) Crisp of Lebanon, Ohio and Sharlene (Winford) Taulbee of Mason, Ohio; brother Sam Williams, sister Evelyn Redmon of Xenia, Ohio; grandchildren Deanna Cupp, Robbie and Johnny Howard, Austin Smith, Ross Crisp and Amberly Dubard. Friends may call on the family Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 11:00am unti; 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home with Reverand Bill Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
