I first met Brooks as a freshman in high school and knew him for many years. He was a nice guy and had a good sense of humor that we all enjoyed. I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend the service as I will be out of town but I send my condolences to Jo and the family.

I want to give my condolences to all the family. I have known Brooks for many years and it is a privilege to say your husband, dad, grandpa, brother, or whatever his affiliation was to you that he was never boring. Brooks was a kind jovial person, so being around him was a good time at the very least. I might have not known him as well as some but, there's no doubt that he would want anything else but for his family and friends to share all the good times they had with him in his somewhat short life, Like all times as this one, it's hard right now and that's understandable. There will come a time when you'll have a smile on your face or just shake your head and it will be a great memory that come to mind for whatever reason. That's a blessing, I'm sure there will be plenty of those in all our future when we think of Brooks each and every day. As I said I offer my condolences and prayers to the family and friends, God Bless.

That was a beautifully written tribute to Brooks. There were so many aspects to him and that covered them perfectly. He was a unique character and was loved by many.
