Obituary of Oneida J. Langdon

Langdon, Oneida J. (nee Coomer) age 87 of Mason, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, July 6, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  Born March 1, 1930 in War Creek, Kentucky, Oneida was the daughter of Willie and Lillie (nee Deaton) Coomer and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Oneida attended Lees College and earner her BS at Eastern Kentucky University.  Oneida was a retired elementary teacher with Kings local Schools.  Oneida was a member of the Socialville Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Preceded in death by her parents, son David, grandson Jonathan Langdon,son-in-law Cecil Moore, brothers James Coomer, Charles Edward Coomer and Shelby Vernon Coomer and sister Marjorie Roark; Oneida leaves behind her loving husband of 66 years Keith M. Langdon of Mason, Ohio; daughter Lillian Moore of South Lebanon, Ohio,, sister Elsie Jane Montgomery of Mason, Ohio, granddaughter Lisa Hill and two great-grandchildren Scarlett Hill and Taylor Tindle and many other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends Monday, July 10, 2017 from 11am until time of service at 1pm at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio
