Obituary of George Louis Swigert

SWIGERT, George Louis age 88 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully June 10, 2017 at Lebanon Country Manor.  Born November 28, 1928 in Maineville, Ohio, George was the son of Milo and Anna (nee Keller) Swigert and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  George served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was a retired assistant plant engineer at Cincinnati Electronics with 40 years of service. George was also a past Mayor of Maineville, Ohio as was many of his family members.  During his retirement, George enjoyed caring for his yard and flowers.  Preceded in death by his parents, son Michael G. Swigert and brothers John and Robert Swigert, George leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years Imogene (nee Short) Swigert of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Dan Swigert of Dayton, Ohio and George W.(Carol Conner) Swigert of Crested Butte, Colorado; grandchildren Christopher (Courtney), Keith and Catherine (Sean); great grandchildren Cameron Rose and Kaylee and many other family members and friends.  Calling hour Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 11am until 12pm.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12pm with interment to follow in the Maineville Cemetery.
