Dear Stephanie,
I was so saddened to read of CJ's recent death, and apologize for missing her services. (I was one of her nurses during the late '90s, when she was around 12, and have thought of both of you many times over the years). What a beautiful young lady she became! I remember her sweet smile, her spunk and how she enjoyed going to the Berry School. She was the star--everyone there knew and loved her. Once while sitting next to her around a table with her classmates, I turned away for just a second. She must have been watching me closely, for when I looked back, her mouth was full of the craft beads that she and the kids were working with. I just about had a heart attack! (and she was smiling as I tried to get the beads out!) ,,, But what I recall most is what an amazing, devoted and tireless mom you were. I pray that God will comfort and bring you peace in the difficult days ahead. CJ was such a blessing to so many people during her time on earth. She's warm and safe in the arms of Jesus now, but pray that His love will also surround you and lift you up. God bless.
