Obituary of Mary Jane Cowan

COWAN, Mary Jane (nee Monce) age 92 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, June 5, 2017 at Cedarview Health Care.  Born July 30, 1924 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mary Jane was the daughter of Anthony Roscoe and Katherine (nee Bergen) Monce and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Mary Jane had been a lifetime member and a Past President of the Ladies Auxillary of V.F.W. Post 6069 and retired from the Avon Corporation.  Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Walter Scott Cowan II, daughter and son-in-law Martha Ann (Johnny) Epps and  son-in-laws  Barney Barnes nd David Fisher; Mary Jane leaves behind her loving children Walter Scott (Sylvia Williams) Cowan III, Barbara Kay Cowan Barnes, Antoinette Cowan Fisher, Deborah Cowan, Timothy (Susan Louise Swartzel) Cowan Melissa Cowan, (Edward) Miracle and Nicolette Cowan; seventeen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.  Calling hour 9:30am - 10:30am Wednesday, June 7, 2017 with funeral service at 10:30am all at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.  The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 644Linn Street Suite1026, Cincinnati, Ohio  45203.
