Obituary of Donna Lynn Fite

FITE, Donna Lynn (nee Taulbee) age 66 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefullyMay 25, 2017  at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  Born April 22, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, Donna was the daughter of Nathan and Lida (nee Byrd) Taulbee, Jr. and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Donna attended Kings High School and was a Master Seamstress by trade.  During her working career, Donna stitched interiors for Secret Service vehicles and limousines for four different Presidents.  Donna was a dedicated member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio where she taught Sunday School for 25 years, directed Vacation Bible School for 30 years, directed children's plays and upholstered all of the church pews..  Donna coached softball in South Lebanon for many years and was an Advisor for Warren County 4H.   Preceded in death by her parents, Donna leaves behind her loving husband of 50 years Tony Fite of Morrow, Ohio; son Tony Gene (Dona) Fite of South Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Sherry Miller of Morrow, Ohio; brothers Roger and Nathan LeRoy Taulbee both of Morrow, Ohio; sisters Vickie Combs of Lebanon, Ohio, Sharon Allen of South Lebanon, Ohio and Lisa James of Morrow, Ohio; grandchildren Devin Fisher, Sybil West, Chasidy Miller, Lisa Jones and Andrew and Samantha Fite; seven grest-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 11am until 1pm at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held at the church at 1pm with Pastor Jason Faulkner and Brother Arthur McFarland officating.  Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.  The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses of Heartland Hospice for their loving care during this difficult time.
