Obituary of Ila Haines

HAINES, Ila J. (nee Snider) age 75 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday morning, July 2, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital. Born June 1, 1937 in Morrow, Ohio, Ila was the daughter of Leslie and Isephine (Wilson) Snider and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many. Ila was a retired nurse's aid from Mason Christian Village in Mason, Ohio, a former member of the Lebanon Eagles Lodge #1395, Lebanon Moose Lodge and an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Harvey "Red" Haines, daughter Becky LeVeque, brothers Perry, Marvin and Junior Snider; sisters Vera, Doris, Evelyn, Edna, Shirley and Judy; Ila leaves behind sons Chuck Atkinson of Wilmington, Ohio; Ralph Haines of Florida and Leslie Haines of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Susan Dailey of Cincinnati, Ohio, Brenda Weekley of Warren, Ohio, Barbara Shafer of Iowa and Cathy Kennedy of Miamisburg, Ohio; sisters Mona June, Bonnie, Linda and Patty, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Friday, July 6, 2012 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Reverend J.D. Cash officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
