Obituary of Dennis C. Helton
HELTON, Dennis Clyde age 82 of Loveland, Ohio passed unexpectedly Friday morning, May 12, 2017 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio. Born June 13, 1934 in Path Fork, Kentucky, Dennis was the son of Floyd and Sarah (nee Payne) Helton and was one of nine children. Dennis served his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Dennis was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and was known as a hard worker. Dennis retired from Diamond International then went to work in Maintenance for Kings Local Schools. Following his retirement with Kings Local Schools, Dennis then went to work for the Warren County Parks where he mowed grass - something he loved to do. Dennis truly loved the outdoors. Preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Scott Voris; brothers Herman and John Paul and sisters Anna Lee Howard and Imogene Hawkins; Dennis leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years Thelma J. (nee Rose) Helton of Loveland, Ohio; son Dennis Wayen (Angela) Helton of Sharonville, Ohio; daughters Kimberly (Chris) Walsh of Indiana and Kelli Voris of Loveland, Ohio; brothers James Floyd "Junior" (Dollann) Helton of Milford, Ohio, Charles Helton of Hartwell, Ohio, Ross Helton of Corbin, Kentucky, and George (Charlotte) Helton of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren Dennis Voris, Brandon Voris, Denise Helton and Kassidey Keibler and many other family members and friends. the family will receive friends Tuesday evening, May 16, 2017 from 5pm until 7pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be hled at the funeral home at 7pm with Shane Walters officiating.
