Obituary of Charlotte Jean Trentman

TRENTMAN, Charlotte Jean (nee Christen) age 94 of Lebanon, Ohio and formerly of Shelby, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Bethesda North Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born September 27, 1921 in Lima, Ohio, Charlotte was the daughter of Eugene Gerald and Hazel (Brown) Christen and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Dick, Jim, Bob and Bill Christen and sisters Eleanor Njissen, Rommie Christen and Bonnie Smith; Charlotte leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years Melvin Trentman of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Gerald Joseph (Ruth) Trentman of Cincinnati, John (Evie) Trentman of Cincinnati and Bill (Karen) Trentman of West Chester; daughter Patty (John) van Gilse of Lebanon, Ohio; sisters Cass Baker of Cleveland Heights and Peg Good of Lima, Ohio; grandchildren Steven, Christofer, William, Cullen, Lydia , Haley and Max and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 from 10am until 12pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. At 12pm we will move to the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church where Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:30pm with Father Bernard Weldishofer officiating. Interment will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Shelby, Ohio.
