Obituary of Richard Eugene Grottle

GROTTLE, Richard Eugene age 77 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties with his family by his side. Born July 1, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio, Richard was the son of Albert and Orpha Elizabeth (Banker) Grottle and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Richard was a graduate of Lewisburg High School and earned his associates degree from Sinclair Community College. Richard may be remembered by many from his employment with WHIO in Dayton, Montgomery County where he worked as a radio technician and lastly as a school bus driver with Lebanon City Schools. Preceded in death by his parents; Richard leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years Ruth (Vance) Grottle of Lebanon, Ohio; son Alan Richard (Carrie Ann) Grottle of Milton, Georgia; sister Ruth Janet (Charles) Heinsohn of Wichita, Kansas and grandchildren Abby and Ben Grottle. Calling hour Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 11am until 12pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12pm with burial to follow in the Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ohio. Donations may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
