Obituary of MIldred L. Burden

BURDEN, Mildred L. (nee Lane) age 89 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Quaker Heights Nursing Care in Waynesville, Ohio surrounded by h er loving family. Born June 8, 1926 in Eckerty, Indiana, Mildred was the daughter of Claude and Mamie (Hammond) Lane and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mildred was a 1945 graduate of Lebanon High School, a retired housekeeper from the Otterbein Retirement Community and enjoyed gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard Burden in 1988, sister Doris Davis, son-in-law Eric King and granddaughter Erica King; Mildred leaves behind her loving children - Terry (Joyce) Burden and James Burden of Lebanon, Ohio, Michael Burden of California and Karen King of Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren Brian, Kerri, Jeff, Eric and Michelle and great grandchildren Michael, Hannah, Cale, Amelia and Michael and many other family members and friends. Calling hour Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 12pm until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2pm at the Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family appreciates memorial donations to Crossroads Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
