Obituary of Minnie L. Hornsby

HORNSBY, Minnie l. (nee Wyrick) age 89 of South Lebanon passed peacefully Friday evening, March 27, 2015 at the Heritage Spring Nursing care in West Chester, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. Born April 8, 1925 in Jackson County, Kentucky, Minnie was the daughter of Enoch Flannery and Maggie Wyrick and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Minnie had lived in the Warren County area since 1967 and was a member of the True Faith Holiness Church of God in South Lebanon, Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents, husband James Hornsby in 1990, sons James Dorsie, Ralph and Ronald Hornsby; brother Bill and Fred Wyrick and Robert Flannery; sisters ImaJean Arthur, Cledus Crooks and Janice Jackson; Minnie leaves behind her loving son Bob Hornsby of Clarksville, Ohio; sister Mabel Bingman; daughter-in-laws Helen, Jean, Linda and Wanda Hornsby; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, March 31, 2015 from 6pm until 8pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:00am with Pastor Woody Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
