Obituary of Charlene Pennix

PENNIX, Charlene Sue (nee Lykins) age 62 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Monday afternoon December 15, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side. Born January 15, 1952 in Wilmington, Ohio, Charlene was the daughter of Eddie and Marie (Hillard) Lykins and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Charlene was a 1970 graduate of Little Miami High School and had worked for Pennix Cement Contractors and Pine Crest Nursing Home as an Office Manager. Charlene enjoyed gardening, shopping and most of all spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents and sisters Gayle and Judy, Charlene leaves behind her loving husband Charlie Pennix of Morrow, Ohio, children Charlie Pennix III (Tyler) of St. Louis, Missouri, Shauna (Marcus Stacy) Friskey of Morrow, Ohio, Jaime Friskey of Morrow, Ohio and Janna (Craig) Rhoden of Clarksville, Ohio; brother Rick Lykins, sisters Terry (Rob)) Swearingen of Morrow, Ohio and grandchildren Gunnar, Maggie, William and Jagger. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 6pm until 8pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 19, 2014 at 12pm with Rich McKinley officiating. Burial will follow in the Morrow Cemetery, Morrow, Ohio.
