Dear Kate, Hannah & family, Sadly, we are approaching the one year anniversary of Kim's untimely passing. I still miss her so very much. I have many moments when something will happen & I think about how I wish I could call Kim so we could laugh hysterically about it! We laughed A LOT together & I think I miss that most of all. Girls, I know you must miss your mom more than words could ever express. Please know that you are both often in my thoughts and prayers. Blessings to you all, Diana

Kim. I just learned of your passing and I am deeply shocked and saddened. You were so kind to my mom at Cedar Village that she thought of you as a daughter. I always looked forward to seeing you when I went to see mom so we could share funny stories about what mom had said or done. You helped me get through my moms passing and I hope that your daughters will have someone just as special to help them through yours. You will be truly missed by so many young and old.

Oh Kimmie, I don't know how to live without you. You have been my my side for 40 years. A true and loyal friend, part of my family, a sister of my heart. I just don't know what to do. I will be strong for Kate and Hannah, but please know that you being gone has left a hole in my heart that will never be filled. I love you forever.

I knew Kim from working with her at Cedar Village with the Opening Minds through Art program. She was so dedicated to the residents and truly loved each and every one of them. Rarely does one have the opportunity to meet such a compassionate and caring person. She was also a hard worker who did everything to make the program run smoothly. She always took the time to thank us and express her appreciation for our work. Those of us who worked with her through OMA always commented how lucky we were to have her. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to get to know her.

We deeply mourn the loss of our good friend Kim, who worked from the beginning with us in the development of our art program for people with dementia (OMA) at Cedar Village. Her enthusiasm for OMA and commitment to the residents in the program helped to strengthen and grow the program over the years. We were privileged to know her and will miss her. Our heartfelt condolences to Kim's family.

You were a great story teller. Your hilarious adventures kept so many of us in stitches...the post-surgery outlet shopping trip & the Gatlinburg tubing escapade are two of my favorites! How we would laugh together - I have wonderful memories of you, and I will cherish them always.
