Obituary of Richard Hammiel

Hammiel, Richard Roy age 61 of Waynesville and formerly of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Mercy Fairfield Hospital following a brief illness surrounded by his family. Born June 16, 1952 in Middletown, Ohio, Richard was the son of Herb and Geneva (Brown) Hammiel and was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, grandfather and brother. Richard was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and a former employee of the City of Lebanon. Preceded in death by his father and sister Sue Todd; Richard leaves behind his loving wife Joyce (Ault) Hammiel, sons Chris and Richard Roy Hammiel; brothers Herb (Sue) Hammiel, Aaron (Mary) Hammiel, Jonathon (Lisa) Hammiel and Daniel (Jennifer) Hammiel; sisters Patricia Hammiel and Melissa (Eric) Collins; one grandchild and many other family members and friends. Receiving of friends will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the Free Pentecostal Church of God, Pater Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church at 7:00pm with Reverend Denny Matheny officiating. Interment with military honors will be in the Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio. the family has requested memorial donations be directed to the Richard R.
